Our Mission
St Teresa of Avila Parish strives to be a vibrant, welcoming Catholic Community. We live out our fervent belief in Jesus Christ's presence among us by celebrating the Eucharist as a family and by embracing the Stewardship Way of Life. In this way we show our love for God and reach out to our neighbor in loving service.

Pope Francis said on November 24, 2013.

From Our Patroness
St. Teresa
of Avila

"The most potent and acceptable prayer is the prayer that leaves the best effects. I don't mean it must immediately fill the soul with desire . . . The best effects [are] those that are followed up by actions-----when the soul not only desires the honor of God, but really strives for it.”

April 9, 1946-March 12, 2014

Please pray for our group of young adults and adults who are on the Mission Trip until Saturday July 4th. Please pray that many hearts will be touched by Jesus as they work and minister and pray for the safety for all concerned.

William "Bill" Kwiatkowski

Please pray for Bill, and keep Bill's wife Mary, the Kwiatkowski family and the boys of Children of the Light in your daily prayers as they mourn this incredible loss.

My dear friends at St. Teresa’s
There is no way to sufficiently thank you for the overwhelming support, love and care you showed to me during this most difficult time. I am sure that my beloved, Bill, is thanking Jesus in heaven for each one of you. Please know that I will never forget you and will carry you in my heart as I head back to Honduras.
I will now be the sole Director of The Children of the Light orphanage and school. I will have a lot of help but I truly ask for your prayers and continued support. I can’t believe that I must do this now without my Bill. I know that the Lord Jesus is faithful.
Fr. Bob and Bill’s sister Joanne will be bringing my husbands remains to Honduras in mid-July. We will have a Memorial Service and burial at the boys home that he founded and directed up to the day of his death. May God always bless you, the good people of St. Teresa’s.
