Youth Ministry Meetings

We meet twice monthly on Sundays, at Seidel Hall at St. Teresa of Avila Church from 2pm to 5pm.  Our meetings focus on Social, Service, Serious & Spiritual – with lots of fun thrown in!  Join us at the next meeting for pizza & the promise that where two or more are gathered, God is with us! Youth Scripture Study

Alternating Sundays, this scripture experience is a great intro to Bible Study. Focusing on the Gospel reading for the coming Sunday, it helps to understand more about God's Word & how we can live it out in our lives. Attend just one session or many! For details email Kathrine Rutledge.
 

Sandwich Saturdays

Beginning in May, Come Saturdays at 11am, help feed hungry families in the Greater Waterbury area by joining Cathy Hunihan in making sandwiches for the St. Vincent de Paul’s Shelter in Waterbury.  This service opportunity takes place at the Parish Offices, all food is supplied, we just need willing & loving hands to make sandwiches!

Echoes of Faith - Summer 2012

Mission Trip

You can be part of our 2012 Mission experience in a very special way.  We are offering members of our parish the opportunity to sponsor a mission trip participant.  This is a wonderful way to get to know what happens on the trip and to experience it thorough the eyes of our youth.  Details can be found on our website or on the flyers and forms at the back of the church.  Sponsorships can be at any amount that is comfortable for you.  We look forward to having you along on our 2012 mission trip.

Join our illustrious Mission Leader and Youth Choir Director, Tina Walewski. for this year’s mission to New Hampshire, to help families in need. Youth Choir

Let’s Sing! Choir is open to 2nd - 12th grades & offers all the opportunity to raise your voices in praise & share your gift of music with our parish. Rehearsals are on Thursdays at St. Teresa's from 6:15pm to 7:15pm.  We hope to be singing twice a month, primarily at the 4:30 Mass on Saturdays with special performance times for holidays.
